Site About
About PeptideGauge
An independent peptide information site. A calculator that shows its math, a vendor ranking that shows its documents, and research overviews that cite the paper. Nothing for sale.
01 What it is
What this site is, and is not
PeptideGauge publishes three kinds of pages: a reconstitution calculator, a vendor transparency table (in progress), and research overviews of individual compounds (in progress). Each one is built so a reader can check it: the calculator prints its arithmetic, the table dates and sources every cell, and the overviews cite PubMed by ID.
It is not a store. There is no cart, no product, and no checkout anywhere on the domain. It is not a clinic. Nobody here prescribes, and no page states a dose or a schedule; the methodology explains what is left out and why.
02 Money
How the site is paid for
As of 2026-08-22, it is not. PeptideGauge is owned by an independent company, takes no payment from any vendor, receives no product from any vendor, and has no advertising. Outbound links are plain links chosen on the merits of the vendor's published documents.
That can change, and the rule for when it does is written down now: if any vendor ever pays, supplies product, or influences what a page says or where it ranks, a disclosure goes on this page, above the vendor table, and on that vendor's row, and its links are marked sponsored. The date of any such change goes in the changelog.
03 People
Who writes it
Pages currently carry the byline PeptideGauge Editors. A named editor with a stated background will be listed here before any compound research page is published; the site does not ship health-adjacent research content under a placeholder name. Until then, the calculator and methodology pages stand on arithmetic and a published method, which do not depend on who wrote them.
04 Policy
Editorial policy, in one paragraph
Claims are ranked on documents, not slogans. No paid placement. No dosing content. No negative statement about a named vendor beyond what its own pages show. Errors are corrected in place and logged publicly. Anything that cannot be tied to a checkable source is cut. The full version is on the methodology page.
05 Corrections
Corrections
Errors are fixed in place and logged with a date on the changelog. Nothing is edited silently.
Checkable beats claimed. That is the whole editorial policy.
